As one of Terremark’s newest facilities, the NAP of Turkey delivers colocation, peering, managed services, and carrier-neutral connectivity to enterprise customers in the region. While Turkey is well connected via submarine and terrestrial fiber networks, it lacks a carrier-neutral, mission-critical Network Access Point to complement the extensive connectivity it enjoys. Terremark’s NAP of Turkey concentrates traffic from high-end users, enables connections between service providers and their users residing in the same facility, and makes efficient use of the available international network capacity. NAP customers will benefit from Terremark’s global footprint of optically interconnected facilities for seamless connectivity to Western Europe and the Americas. This will enable access to cost-effective products and services around the world, including Terremark’s managed hosting, security, disaster recovery, and cloud computing services.
Service Level Agreements
The NAP of Turkey guarantees power, environmentals, and connectivity with industry leading Service Level Agreements that are contractually based. Our advanced facility design allows us to deliver unprecedented uptime guarantees for all power and environmental systems.
Carrier-Neutral Connectivity
In addition to security and survivability, Terremark's NAP of Turkey offers choices and redundancies in communication infrastructure matched by only a few other enterprise-class colocation providers anywhere in the region. Terremark’s peering services bring together domestic fiber backbones giving customers access to two primary fiber backbones in Turkey as well as multiple international fiber operators. IST-IX, our Istanbul facility's Internet Exchange (IX), is the only carrier neutral IX in the region.
